 150 people attended the Vendorcom event, sponsored by PayPal and held at the prestigious PayPal/eBay UK headquarters in Richmond. Vendorcom is a membership organisation which represents key stakeholders in the cards and payments industry. Its primary aims are to promote innovation and thought-leadership, provide a forum for knowledge sharing and issues resolution for its members across the cards and payments industry.
Peter Turner, CreditCall’s CEO, presented how smartphones can act as payment devices and how this enhanced capability can be used to complement existing PoS experiences, opening up new markets which hitherto proved difficult to address.
