PAUL UK, the French family bakery and patisserie, selected CreditCall’s e-commerce payment gateway to enable online top ups for customers’ loyalty cards, which also function as a prepaid card or gift card.
“La Carte Noir” is a new loyalty card introduced by PAUL UK to its 22 London shops from 2nd August. A retail milestone, customers for the first time will be able to use the card in three ways; As loyalty card, to earn and spend points, including a free coffee after every nine purchases, as a gift card and as a prepaid card which can be topped up in store or online via CreditCall’s payment gateway CardEaseXML.
PAUL UK required a payment system that is reliable, resilient, flexible and has exceptional functionality. It was also critical that it was accredited with PAUL UK’s existing acquirer Bank of Scotland. BlueRunner Solutions who developed the online top up service recommended CreditCall’s CardEaseXML based on ease of integration, speed to market, technical expertise, industry knowledge and superior customer service.
